Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When will my flowers be delivered?
A: All floral and gift orders placed before 9:30 AM are collected on the first morning delivery run. Orders placed after 9:30 AM will leave the studio at 1 PM for a late afternoon delivery on your selected date. Providing a phone number for the recipient helps our courier team eliminate any potential delivery issues. We only offer delivery Monday through to Friday and Saturdays pick up only
Q: What happens to my flowers and gifts if no one is home when delivered?
A: Our courier team will leave the items in a safe and shaded area. If there is nowhere suitable to leave them, they will call the recipient for further assistance. If the courier is unable to leave the gift due to the absence of a safe place, a second delivery attempt will incur an additional delivery fee. Please note that once a gift has been delivered safely, we cannot control how long it remains at the delivery address before the recipient arrives home or returns to work to receive it. If an address change needs to be made -please let us know ASAP - our floral team work their magic to ensure the gift is received in a timely manner.
Q: Can I pick up my order?
A: As Poppy In April is studio-based, I’m not always on-site. I often deliver locally, collect blooms from growers, and source new products. If you choose click and collect, please add a preferred pickup time, keeping in mind my operating schedule.
Q: How can I check if you deliver to a specific area?
A: If you’re unsure about the delivery area, please call or email me. I can check with our floral couriers and confirm whether we can deliver to your location.
Q: I’ve missed the cut-off for ordering blooms; it’s a special birthday today. Can you help?
A: Absolutely! Contact me directly—I’m always here to help brighten someone’s day whenever possible.
Q: What ingredients are in your cupcakes?
A: Our vanilla cupcakes contain: Butter, Water, Sugar, Flour, Self Raising Flour, Cocoa, Eggs, and Vanilla Extract. Please note that all ingredients may have been produced on a line that handles nuts, tree nuts, and other allergens.
