I'm Tessa, owner, founder and visionary of Poppy in April, also Mum.
Before starting my own business, I spent over 17 years in the floral industry, working with thousands of incredible customers on every type of occasion imaginable.
In 2021 I took the knowledge, experience and trust gained over those years and turned that into my own boutique brand and floral studio.
I created Poppy in April with the vision of providing an exclusive customer experience devoted to creating lasting memories.
You'll see this vision reflected everywhere, from hand-selecting the very best locally grown flowers to the time, effort and care I take crafting every single order from scratch with the final recipient at heart.
I'm based in Tuakau; I love working with locals in Buckland, Pukekohe, Waiuku, Franklin & Pokeno and partner with excellent floral couriers that deliver anywhere in Auckland.

I hand select our flowers ensuring they are as fresh as fresh can be. They aren’t stored which means they’ll stay perky and fragrant for longer.
